Raise a cheer, ye cursed pirates, for the (post-)launch of Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew!
It’s been exciting to see you all embark on this epic pirate adventure to assemble your cursed crew and find Captain Mordechai’s treasure.
Today, a Hotfix update is ready to roll on Steam and GOG now – and we’re getting ready to push that update to the Epic Games Store this afternoon. The Hotfix update addresses the most crucial bugs that’ve come to our attention since the launch.
For one, save game errors have been causing a ruckus, but fear not: We’re providing some first fixes with this update to solve this and some other critical issues. Also, a bigger patch for PC and consoles will follow soon!
Here are the most important changes that we made with this Hotfix update:
IMPORTANT CHANGES
- Fixed two different occurrences of “Something went wrong while capturing a memory” issues
- Using Pinkus von Presswald to overtake a Prognosticar and then using the “Rite of (attempted) Excision” skill
- Playing extended sessions (multiple hours) in the same mission. Primarily affected missions on the islands Iron Bay and Angler’s Grave.
- Fixed a progression issue related to character revives that could occur after a crash
- Fixed camera movement when using keyboard
